Online Support

Optima Health EAP's online support service is designed to bring instant advice and guidance to your fingertips. Our trained online support advisers are ready to help you on a multitude of topics, providing you with tailored advice solutions; empowering you to make informed decisions and overcome any hurdles life throws your way. If deemed clinically appropriate, the adviser will also be able to connect you to an online counsellor. 
 

Confidentiality

Although provided by your organisation, Optima Health EAP services are completely independent, and your exchange with us is treated in the strictest confidence in accordance with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework. 

What is discussed is confidential unless: 

• The counsellor has concerns about your, or anyone else’s safety, such as for suicide or child protection issues 

• You inform the counsellor that you have committed a serious crime 

• You disclose something that, by law, we have to share with the relevant authorities

If any confidentiality limits arise during the sessions, the counsellor will normally discuss this with you, where possible, and keep you informed of who they will be contacting to share their concerns. 

The Optima Health EAP Online Support service is available Monday-Friday 08:00am - 10:00pm and at weekends 09:00am - 05:00pm.
